FPA names three new members of its board

Kearsten James, a certified financial planner with Queensland-based Cooper Wealth Management, has joined the board of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

James joins Julie Matheson and Julian Place on the board. All three positions are for three-year terms and will commence in late November.

"On behalf of the FPA Board, I am looking forward to working with Kearsten, Julie and Julian," said FPA chair Marisa Broome. Each bring important skills and experience which will add to the depth of knowledge on the FPA Board."

James joined Cooper Wealth Management in late 2018. She was previously a senior paraplanner with Sterling Private Wealth on the Gold Coast and was the head of advice and a senior paraplanner with Tupicoffs in Brisbane.
