The Financial Planning Association of Australia has announced that chair Marisa Broome will continue on despite the end of her term.
Broome, who became chair in late 2018, first joined the board in 2015. She has been appointed as an additional director and will continue as a chair for an additional term.
Two new additions have been made to the board, Kearsten James and Julian Place. Julie Matheson has been re-elected to the board.
Two existing directors have left the board, Delma Newton and Michelle Tate-Lovery.
Broome was a founding director of Millennium Financial Services and has been a principal with wealthadvise for more than 20 years. Before that, she held a variety of roles with MLC, Westpac, and Macquarie Bank.
