Former SuperRatings head joins GROW Super

Executive Move

GROW Super has announced the appointment of Adam Gee as head of strategy, effective May 2019.

In this role, Gee will "lead the development of GROW’s strategy both domestically and internationally and will support the implementation of the TINA platform, GROW’s blockchain-enabled technology solution for superannuation funds and wealth platforms," the fund said.

Gee was most recently the lead partner of KPMG’s superannuation advisory practice and previously served as chief executive officer of research and ratings house, SuperRatings.

Commenting on his appointment, GROW’s CEO Joshua Wilson said: “We are thrilled to have attracted someone of Adam’s calibre and in-depth industry knowledge to GROW."

Gee added that he is "very excited" to be joining the GROW team and that "having worked closely with many funds for a number of years, it is not often you get the opportunity to join a company that has the ability to make a step change that can truly benefit the entire industry."

Adam Gee on his new role at GROW Super

One month into his new role as head of strategy at GROW Super, Adam Gee shares his enthusiasm for TINA, a technology platform he says will "completely change the way in which funds are able to engage with their members." We ask him how his previous roles have prepared him for this one, what he thinks the return of the Morrison government will mean for the industry, and to reveal something about himself that most people wouldn't know.
