Former Spanish national women's golf team Captain joins Avenir Capital

Avenir Capital, an Australian boutique fund manager, has announced the appointment of Patricia Queipo de Llano Campomanes as an investment associate in its global investment team, effective August 2017.

Queipo de Llano Campomanes, who has relocated to Australia from Spain to take on the role, has six years of European and global financial markets experience. Previously, she was also the captain of the Spanish national women's golf team.

Prior to joining Avenir, she spent three years as a credit investment analyst with Spanish asset management and credit fund Arcano, investing in both leveraged loans and high yield bonds of European and US private equity backed firms. Before this, she worked for PwC as a member of its Spanish corporate finance and debt advisory team, as a member of BNP Paribas' corporate and investment banking team, and for Banco Santander's global banking and markets team.

Avenir has also recently announced the launch of a retail class of its flagship concentrated global equities fund, the Avenir Global Fund, through Fidante Partners.
