Former Magellan exec joins Auscap

Auscap Asset Management, a value based, long short Australian equities manager, has confirmed the appointment of Jennifer Herbert to the newly-created role of senior distribution manager, effective March 2017.

Herbert joins from Magellan Asset Management where she was a key accounts manager, responsible for launching and managing Magellan's ASX-listed product suite.

She has over 20 years' experience in financial markets having held senior positions at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche and Macquarie Bank, specialising in equity derivatives sales.

Commenting on her appointment, Auscap principal and portfolio manager, Tim Carleton, said: "We are delighted that Jennifer has joined Auscap. It is wonderful to add to the team someone with her personal qualities and financial markets and listed products experience. We have no doubt she will become an integral part of the business."
