Former JANA Exec joins Statewide board
Statewide Super has confirmed the appointment of David Holston to its board as an employer representative director and chair of the investment committee, effective 1 January 2017.
His most recent role was with JANA Investment Advisors, where he was an executive director and member of both the JANA board and research committee. He retired from these roles in December 2016.
Prior to joining JANA in 1999, Holston was the CEO & MD at National Financial Management (NFM) and National Australia Trustees. He was also concurrently a director of the National Australia Bank Staff Superannuation Fund and chair of the investment committees for both the fund and for NFM's retail investment master trusts.
He was appointed to the Statewide board by Business SA.
Statewide also recently announced the appointment of Sandi Orleow, who joined the investment committee as an independent expert in December 2016.
