Former Challenger Chief Exec joins HUB24 board

Wealth management platform provider, HUB24, has announced that Paul Rogan has joined its board as a non-executive director, effective 20 December 2017.

Rogan previously spent 11 years working at Challenger in various roles, including as group CFO, EGM capital risk and strategy and, most recently, as chief executive of distribution, marketing and research, before leaving the firm in February this year. Prior to this, he held roles with NAB ad MLC.

Recently, he founded fintech firm, Retirement Essentials.

HUB24 has also announced that Vaughn Webber will be stepping down from the board, effective March 2018, following more than five years of service. Webber is currently chair of HUB24's audit, risk and compliance committee and following his departure, Rogan, who is currently a member of the committee, will assume this responsibility.

Commenting on the changes, HUB24's chair, Bruce Higgins, said: "Paul Rogan's appointment as a Non-Executive Director strengthens the [Board's] skills in finance, risk, strategy, distribution and marketing, where Paul has a strong track record in successfully driving businesses through rapid growth phases. Paul has transitioned from his executive career and has been an active non-executive director in the not for profit sector...we look forward to his contribution."
