Former Cbus CIO joins Tasplan Board

Tasplan has appointed Trish Donohue as a director of its board, nominated by the Local Government Association of Tasmania.

Donohue will commence her term at the $8 billion fund in January 2019.

Before her departure at the end of 2017, Donohue was group executive, investment services & solutions at Cbus. She was a founding member of the fund's investment team, having joined in 2000.

Commenting on Donohue's appointment, Tasplan chair, Naomi Edwards, said: "Trish has extensive experience in superannuation and investments and will complement the current skill set on the board to drive our growth strategy".

She added: "Her appreciation of ESG investment philosophies will also see her bring a different view to strategic investing and opportunities for Tasplan and we look forward to working with Trish in the new year."

Donohue will replace director Brian Scullin who is retiring from the board.
