Former AMP Capital Portfolio Manager joins Ausbil

Ausbil Investment Management has appointed Camilla Skalberg to the newly-created role of national manager, institutional business.

In this role, Skalberg will be responsible for existing and new relationships with institutional clients and consultant relations.

Skalberg most recently served as a portfolio manager in tailored investment solutions at AMP Capital, working with institutional clients. Prior to that, she served as director, head of product, Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) at Wellington Management, and also spent over 10 years at BT Financial Group (now Pendal) in various director roles, including head of wholesale business development and consultant relations, head of product, and head of strategy and research.

Commenting on her appointment, Mark Knight, head of distribution at Ausbil, said: "Camilla brings significant institutional experience to the role and a wealth of knowledge in multi-asset investing."

He added: "We are keen to deepen our existing relationships and develop other relationships with our expanded investment capabilities in active dividend income, global small caps and global infrastructure. Her technical expertise will help build our momentum and further develop our institutional footprint across the market".
