Former AMP Advice corporate development head joins AFA

The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has announced the appointment of Rob Coulter as general manager, partnerships, effective 15 July 2019.

Coulter, who has more than 28 years' financial services experience, was most recently head of corporate development at AMP Advice (formerly IPAC Securities) and, prior to that, was head of employer superannuation sales at OnePath (formerly ING).

Commenting on his appointment, AFA CEO Philip Kewin said: "Rob will be responsible for driving the AFA Partnerships strategy in order to develop strategic relationships that add value to member engagement and maximise the resources and expertise of our partner relationships,"

He added that Coulter will be "a tremendous addition to the team".
