First State Super names Acting Head of Investment Strategy

First State Super has announced that Michael Winchester will step into the role of acting head of investment strategy, effective August 2017.

The announcement follows news that current head of investment strategy, Michael Blayney, will be stepping down, after three and a half years in the role, to join BT Investment Management in the newly-created role of head of multi asset investments on 28 August 2017.

Winchester is currently the acting chief investment officer at StatePlus, the financial planning arm of First State Super, and will take on the additional role with First State Super while the search for a permanent replacement for Blayney is underway.
