FIIG Securities expands institutional fixed income team

FIIG Securities (FIIG) has announced the appointment of Michael Clout as a director and one of four new additions to the firm's institutional fixed income team.

Clout, who has over 25 years' financial markets experience, joins FIIG from Laminar Capital, where he was head of business development. Before this, he spent more than five years at Ord Minnett.

In his new role, Clout will "significantly enhance FIIG's presence in the local government, religious and institutional fund sectors," the firm said.

He will be joined by newly-appointed fellow directors, Chris Williams and Emily Boden, and associate director, Zhongni Filipovic.

FIIG's head of institutional fixed income, Mark Bayley, said the new hires "will significantly enhance the breadth and depth of FIIG's institutional fixed income offering, driving opportunities for our clients and supporting FIIG's strategic growth plans in the institutional sector."
