Energy Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Sean Marteene to the newly-created role of general manager, customer insight and product.

Marteene joins the $7 billion industry fund from Aon, where he was most recently a senior consultant for customer insights and product design. Before this, he was Aon's head of fund services and national manager of client development.

Marteene has more than 17 years' experience in superannuation, covering account and client relationship management, fund operations, product development, customer experience and insights.

Commenting on his appointment at Energy Super, a spokesperson for the fund said: "Sean is passionate about understanding customers and developing products and services utilising human-centred design frameworks, and is excited about the insight and value he now brings to Energy Super."
