Elana Rubin joins RGAA Board

RGA Reinsurance Company of Australia (RGAA), has announced that Elana Rubin has joined its board as an independent director, effective November 2017.

Rubin, who has over 20 years' experience as a non-executive director on private, government and not-for-profit, currently sits on the boards of ME Bank, Transurban QLD, Mirvac Group, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and Afterpay Touch Group. Previously, she was the chair of AustralianSuper.

Commenting on her appointment at RGAA, managing director, Mark Stewart, said: "Elana's extensive experience in financial services and life insurance will be invaluable as RGAA looks to grow during this period of significant change in the market."

RGAA's chair, Ian Pollard, added: "It is a privilege to attract such an outstanding business leader and experienced board member who will bring great value to RGAA."
