ECP adds to investments team

Justin Warton has joined the ECP Asset Management investments team, bringing the team to seven members.

Warton was most recently an investment analyst with First Sentier Investors covering emerging companies. He looked after small cap technology and consumer research and coverage. He also spent time with the company in London on the European infrastructure team.

ECP Asset Management is an Australian equities fund manager established in 2012 by Manny Pohl, who welcomed Warton's experience with emerging companies to the organisation. "At ECP, we are strong believers in sharing knowledge among the investment team, with no one individual having a monopoly on information or a louder voice than others. Justin will be an excellent fit for the team.

"His appointment comes at a time when we are experiencing strong growth in the business, with the current economic environment very favourable for our flagship ECP Growth Companies Fund.
