AvSuper has announced the departure of employer representative director Andrew Cooke, effective March 2019.
In acknowledging Cooke's six years of service to the fund, AvSuper chair Ben Firkins said that he "provided a valuable contribution in the areas of investment governance, risk management, audit and compliance."
Firkins added: "We wish Andrew well and know that his expertise will be welcomed as he undertakes new opportunities."
Cooke was previously the chief investment officer of Goldman Sachs & Partners in Melbourne (from 2004 to 2010) and head of global research at Citigroup Asset in New York (from 2001 to 2004).
He is replaced on the AvSuper board by Geoff Burgess.
