Crestone appoints Qantas director to board

Crestone has appointed Barbara Ward as an independent non-executive director.

Ward has significant finance and industry experience, including her current directorship with Qantas as chair of the company's audit committee. She is also currently a director of Caltex Australia Limited.

Ward has previously been a director for CBA, Lion Nathan, and the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. Professionally, Ward was senior ministerial adviser to Paul Keating and CEO of Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services.

In a statement, Ward says that she's excited about joining the Crestone Wealth Management team. "In this period of disruption for wealth managers, Crestone has developed a unique operating structure and offering, being owner operated and providing advice to wholesale clients exclusively.
