Corporate fund adds Szondy as chair

Alcoa of Australia Retirement Plan has appointed Gabriel Szondy as the plan's chair.

The former PwC senior partner has more than 35 years of experience in taxation and superannuation. He's currently on the investment committee at CareSuper and is the chair of Frontier Advisors and the Centre for Institutional Investors.

Szondy was formerly a director at the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation and the CEO of the Lend Lease Corporation's corporate programs.

He replaces Anthony (Tom) Adams, who is retiring after 16 years on the board and 35 years with Alcoa.
