Consultant re-joins Willis Towers Watson

Global advisory, broking and solutions firm Willis Towers Watson has announced the appointment of Rebecca (Becka) Bannan as a consultant in its Sydney investments team.

Bannan re-joins Willis Towers Watson after almost two years at Alpha Financial Markets Consulting in London. Before this, she spent four years in Willis Towers Watson's London office, where she worked on a number of "significant governance projects", the firm said.

Commenting on her appointment, director of investments for Australia Martin Goss said: "The range of Becka's experience will be of enormous value to our clients. She has the ability to work across all our advisory services, including strategic and dynamic asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection and monitoring."

He added: We're excited by her recent work in delivering best practice operating models for global asset management businesses and in creating a holistic monitoring framework to help asset owners with governance and oversight, risk management and monitoring of decision making at all stages of the investment process. Becka has global exposure to the institutional investment community and specifically pension and superannuation funds.
