Colchester adds BDM

Colchester Global Investors has appointed Monica Hood as a business development manager. She comes from Centuria Capital where she spent the last two years as a relationship manager. Hood also spent time in sales roles with Charter Hall and Folkestone Limited. She spent more than 16 years as a senior BDM with Hunter Hall.

Hood's appointment follows an increase in allocations to Colchester's global sovereign bond portfolios. MacPherson says the that Colchester's defensive style appeals to investors with concern about diversification of risk exposure around assets like property and equities. "Advisers like the simplicity and transparency of our funds that make it easy for investors to understand."

Hood said she's delighted to join Colchester's Australian team.
