Club Plus Super has announced that long-serving director and chair of the past two and a half years, Tara Moriarty, has stepped down from the board of the $2.7 billion fund.
Moriarty's departure follows her election as a Member of the Legislative Council at the recent state election in New South Wales.
Commenting on her 13 years' service, Club Plus Super chief executive Stefan Strano said: "On behalf of our members and the team at Club Plus Super, I want to thank Tara for her outstanding contribution to our fund."
He added: "In recent years, under Tara's oversight as chair, we have tightened our governance and modernised our structures in alignment with our purpose: to support the journey of our members to retire on their own terms. I wish Tara all the very best for her new career in Parliament."
