Class tags former MYOB CFO to join board

Board Move

SMSF administration software provider Class has appointed Simon Martin to join their board as an independent non-executive director.

Martin has significant experience working in both software and finance, areas particularly applicable to Class. Martin was the CFO for MYOB from 2005 - 2012, and is currently the chair of a delivery and logistics start-up called Sendle.

Class chairman Matthew Quinn said they were delighted by Martin's appointment. “Simon brings over 25 years’ experience to the Board, particularly in the area of software and technology.

"As the former CFO of MYOB, Simon has an in-depth knowledge of the accounting industry and his financial and commercial experience will be a great asset to us as we move forward with our reimagination strategy".

Martin is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In March of this year Class made an investment in an MDA service provider with an option to take full ownership in the future.
