Citi appoints Head of Digital Sales & Marketing
Citi Australia has promoted Samantha Elliott to the role of head of digital sales & marketing for its consumer bank.
In this role, Elliott is responsible for marketing technology & digital media, digital experience optimisation, marketing strategy & partnerships, market & customer insights and brand marketing & sponsorships.
Elliott joined Citi Australia in 2015 as head of acquisition marketing for the bank’s wealth management function before moving on to lead acquisition for the bank’s credit cards and personal lending business.
Commenting on her promotion, she said: “It’s an exciting time of rapid growth and change at Citi, and in the industry more broadly. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by a team of exceptional marketers – and people – and I look forward to working with my team and my colleagues across the business to continue to create and market financial solutions that help Australians to meet their financial goals.”
In other news, Citi has confirmed the retirement of Adam Lavis, head of equities, Australia & New Zealand, after eight years with the firm and 19 years in the industry.
