Christian Super hires deputy CIO

David Brown has joined Christian Super as deputy chief investment officer.

Brown returns to Australia from PNG's National Superannuation Fund (NASFUND) where he was the chief investment officer for more than 3 years.

Before moving to PNG in 2015, Brown was the senior portfolio manager at QIC and head of private equity at VFMC.

In addition to his executive roles, Brown holds several directorships including with ClearView Wealth.

In comments to Financial Standard, a spokesperson for the fund said, "[Brown's] appointment reflects the Christian Super's ongoing commitment to strengthen investment strategy and capability".
