Chair named for Pengana International Equities Limited

Pengana International Equities Limited (PIA), a listed investment company (LIC) managed by Pengana Capital Group, recently named Frank Gooch as its new chair, effective 6 December 2017.

Gooch was appointed to the Board in June 2017. He is also the managing director of Milton Corporation, an Australian equities listed investment company with a market capitalisation of over $3 billion. He has more than 31 years' experience in the finance and investment industries.

Commenting on his new role, Gooch said: "It is an honour to serve our shareholders as Chairman of PIA. I look forward to working with the Board and the Pengana management team to ensure PIA continues to deliver value to our shareholders."

He has replaced David Groves who was the interim chair following the departure of Paul Jensen in April last year.

Gooch is also a member of the PIC's audit, risk and compliance committee and of its independent board committee.
