KPMG has announced the appointment of Linda Elkins as its national sector leader, asset & wealth management.
Elkins will first join KPMG as a partner on 5 August 2019 before assuming leadership of the asset & wealth management practice, from Paul Howes, on 1 October 2019.
Previously, Elkins spent nine years at CBA, the last seven as executive general manager of Colonial First State. Before this, she held a number of roles in the superannuation industry, most recently as managing director of superannuation at Russell Investments. She is also currently a director of ASFA and has been a member and chair of several committees for both ASFA and the Financial Services Council.
Howes, who has been appointed national managing partner of KPMG Enterprise, said of Elkins appointment: "We are thrilled to appoint someone of Linda's calibre and experience and look forward to her making a significant contribution to our clients."
He added: "The superannuation sector is going through a period of great change and Linda is ideally placed to steer our practice through this, and further strengthen our client offerings."
