Colonial First State (CFS) has announced the appointment of Hugh Loughrey to its leadership team in the role of head of office of the trustee, effective 6 June 2019.
CFS said that "the team acts as a representative of the superannuation trustee boards to proactively promote trustee fiduciary governance and advocate for the best interests of superannuation members."
Loughrey, who has experience in legal, risk and governance roles, joins from Qantas Super, where he was head of legal, risk & compliance. Prior to that, he was a long-serving executive at BT Financial Group in a variety of legal and risk roles, including chief legal counsel.
Loughrey succeeds Caroline Hodkinson, who, CFS said, has taken an external role with a consulting firm.
