Prime Financial Group (Prime) has announced the departure of chief financial officer (CFO) and company secretary, Simon Munday, effective December 2018.

The news was first announced to the ASX in October, though a follow-up announcement this week has named his successors as Prime's financial controller, Rory McLaughlin, and head of finance, Ben Priestley, who will share the responsibilities of CFO, and Dale Gaskell-Kharsas, who has been reappointed as company secretary.

Munday previously spent nine years with Ernst & Young's financial services teams in London and Melbourne in both assurance and transaction advisory services and a further four years in the role of CFO and company secretary with Ansvar Insurance Australia. He joined Prime in August 2017.

Commenting on his departure, Prime managing director and CEO, Simon Madder said: "We wish to sincerely thank Simon for his strong performance...and recognise his contribution in building a strong team of finance professionals, successfully implementing new finance systems, integrating acquisitions and improving Prime's reporting capability."
