Prior to joining the organisation, Schubert was a partner at Mercer, looking after strategic client partnerships. Schubert was also the managing director of superannuation at Russel Investments.

Cooper was recently appointed to the NULIS board, which oversees NAB's $75 billion FUM superannuation funds. He will is chair of the MasterKey and Plum investments committees.

In a statement to Financial Standard, a spokesperson said that they were undertaking a search for a replacement.
