Centuria Life appoints new head

Centuria Capital Group has announced the promotion of Michael Blake as head of Centuria Life, the firm's investment bond division of the business, effective April 2018.

Blake, who joined Centuria in 2016, was most recently the firm's head of sales and marketing.

He has over 30 years' experience in funds management, property and financial services. Prior to joining Centuria, Blake held roles with Cromwell Funds Management, Oyster Property Group, Phoenix Portfolios, HSBC Asset Management, Zurich and Mercantile Mutual.

Commenting on Blake's promotion, Centuria's group CEO, John McBain, said: "We are incredibly fortunate to have an in-house candidate with the communications and market knowledge, and financial skills, to step into this role."

Blake said of his new role: "It is with great excitement that I step into this role, and I look forward to further building the success of the business and helping more investors to understand and gain access to this unique product."

Blake replaces Neil Rogan, who resigned after three and a half years in the role.
