Centrepoint names new Group Executive Advice

Centrepoint Alliance has announced the appointment of Paul Cullen as group executive advice, effective July 2019, following the retirement of Soula Cargakis.

Cullen, who has 30 years' advice industry experience, joined Centrepoint in 2016 and was previously the head of best advice at IOOF.

Commenting on his appointment, Centrepoint chief executive officer Angus Benbow said: "Paul is a natural fit for the role...he is a highly respected member of the executive team and has strong, enduring relationships with our adviser network and across the industry."

Cullen added: "It is an honour to take over the reins from Soula...I am looking forward to continuing to help our advisers navigate the industry landscape and create new opportunities to find business growth."

Centrepoint has also announced the appointment of Kate Anderson, who takes over from Cullen in the role of group executive advice services and solutions.
