Centrepoint names finance chief

Centrepoint Alliance has appointed Brendon Glass as their new chief financial officer.

Glass has significant executive experience in wealth management. He was the executive director of UBS wealth management from 2011-2016 and was the CFO for Macquarie private wealth from 2007-2011.

Centrepoint CEO Angus Benbow said that he was delighted to welcome Glass to the team. "He brings a unique blend of capabilities and experience which are ideally suited to our business as we continue to focus on the growth opportunities presented in the market."

He also brings a track record of delivering successful outcomes for shareholders by driving organic and M&A-led growth while optimising capital management for businesses across a range of sectors."

Glass replaces Peter Loosmore, who held the CFO role in an interim capacity for more than a year.
