Centrepoint interim CFO departs

Centrepoint Alliance's interim chief financial officer, Peter Loosmore, has left the organisation.

The company announced that they are searching for a permanent replacement. Loosmore has been in the role in an interim capacity since December 2018.

Loosmore has held several high-profile finance CFO roles, including with St George Bank's retail operations, Westpac's financial services, and Suncorp Life.

Centrepoint CEO Angus Benbow thanked Loosmore and chief technology and marketing officer Richard Lea, who also departed the company. "I am very grateful for the support that both Mr Loosmore and Mr Lea have provided me over their tenure with Centrepoint Alliance. The Board and I take this opportunity to wish them both every success for their futures."

Benbow said that the company's executive team is well-resourced to "continue leading the Company on its strategy of being the leading provider of services to financial advisers in Australia."
