Cbus expands internal infrastructure team, appoints head

Cbus has appointed Alexandra Campbell as head of infrastructure, joining the fund's internalised infrastructure team.

Campbell joins the organisation from AustralianSuper where she has spent two years as a senior investment director.

"Alex comes to Cbus with significant runs on the board as an infrastructure leader," said Cbus CIO Kristian Fok. "We are very pleased that she will be devoting her considerable talents to managing infrastructure investments on behalf of our 750,000 members."

Before her time with AustralianSuper, Campbell spent several years as a principal at Avoca Capital Advisors and a director at Hastings Funds Management.

Campbell said she's excited to join the fund as Cbus looks to play a part in the recovery of the Australian economy. "Undoubtedly this is a challenging time for markets, but this also gives rise to valuable investment opportunities.

"I know Cbus is keen to partner with governments and other funds to source unique and innovative investment opportunities, and I am excited to be involved."
