CBA's head of private banking to depart

Executive Move

Executive general manager for private banking Marianne Perkovic will leave Commonwealth Bank in October.

In confirming her departure, a spokesperson for CBA said, "She has been instrumental in driving multiple improvements within the business to make it simpler and better for our private clients, and will leave it in a strong position when she leaves CBA later this year."

Perkovic has more than two decades of experience in financial services, more than 10 years with CBA. She was named general manager of distribution at Colonial First State in early 2010.

When she was named CEO of Count Financial Limited, Perkovic was the youngest-appointed CEO of an ASX-listed company. She started as executive manager in adviser services in 1998 and was promoted to managing director and CEO in 2006.
