CBA comms GM steps down

Commonwealth Bank GM of group communication, Zoe Viellaris, has departed the organisation after 7 years.

A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the departure to Industry Moves and said they would begin recruiting to fill the role soon.

Viellaris joined CBA in 2013 as executive manager of communications for the wealth management segment of the business. She was promoted to head of public affairs and comms in 2017, and promoted again to the GM role in 2018.

Before joining CBA, Viellaris spent time in comms roles with NAB, Perpetual, and Alcatel-Lucent in Malaysia.
