Commonwealth Bank has appointed Julie Galbo as an independent, non-executive director to the CBA's board with effect from 1 September 2021.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Galbo is based in Denmark and has extensive experience in Danish financial services, including a stint as deputy director general of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
"On behalf of the board, I am delighted to announce Julie's appointment, and to welcome her breadth of financial services expertise in her role as a non-executive director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia," CBA chair Catherine Livingstone AO said when announcing the appointment.
