BUSSQ chief executive officer Linda Vickers is set to retire from the role after more than 20 years with the industry fund.
Vickers was named chief executive in 2016 following a restructure of the organisation that saw the chief executive, David O'Sullivan, become the chief investment officer.
She first joined the organisation as a risk and compliance manager in 1998.
BUSSQ COO Damian Wills will take over as chief executive on 1 January 2021.
"Since Linda joined BUSSQ as employer services manager in 1998 she has helped steer the group through the Y2K scare, the dot.com crash, the September 11 terror attacks, a global financial crisis and now the COVID-19 pandemic," said BUSSQ chair Paula Masters. "Linda leaves BUSSQ in strong shape, and well-placed to build on its record of above average returns for members over the medium to longer term."
Established in 1985, BUSSQ currently has $5 billion funds under management for nearly 73,000 members.
