Burke retires from WaveStone

WaveStone Capital co-founder Graeme Burke has retired from the fund manager.

Burke was involved in the launch of the organisation in 2006 along with Ian Harding and Catherine Allfrey, whom he worked with at Colonial First State. Harding left the organisation in 2013.

Allfrey remains a principal with the organisation along with Raaz Bhuyan, who joined in 2014.

Burke's retirement comes after more than three decades as a stockpicker. During his 15 years with WaveStone, Burke helped grow the fund from an idea to more than $5 billion assets under management.
