The Financial Services Council has announced that Brad Cooper, chief executive of BT Financial Group, is stepping down as deputy chair of the FSC board.
In thanking Cooper, FSC chair and MLC Wealth CEO, Geoff Lloyd, said: "During his nine-year tenure on the FSC board, Mr Cooper provided expert guidance and support, particularly during challenging periods for the industry."
His successor is long-serving FSC director, CEO and chief investment officer of Australian Unity, David Bryant.
The FSC has also welcomed three new board members: Alex Wade, CEO of Australian Wealth Management at AMP; Andrew Tobin, CFO of Challenger Limited; and Jason Yetton, CEO of Commonwealth Bank's NewCo.
