Clime Investment Management's Rod Bristow has resigned as CEO.

In a statement on the ASX, the company thanked Bristow for his contributions since joining the organisation two years ago.

Before joining Clime, Bristow was briefly the chief executive at online equities broker Macrovue. He spent several years as the chief executive of financial advice firm Infocus and was the COO of CommSec.

Bristow, who has a background in forestry, started his executive finance career with CBA dealing with agribusiness managed investments.

Speaking with Industry Moves, Bristow says he plans to take a break and review his options between now and Christmas, noting that it is an exciting time in the wealth management market.

Clime, which is listed on the ASX, recently made some changes to its board including a new chair, Neil Schafer.
