BOQ director to retire

Michelle Tredenick will depart the board of the Bank of Queensland following its annual general meeting in December.

Tredenick first joined the organisation in 2011. She was named chair of the information technology committee in 2012.

"Michelle has made a significant contribution to BOQ during her term," said chair Patrick Allaway. "In particular, we would like to acknowledge her role as Chair of the Information Technology Committee where she has provided guidance and oversight of the delivery of Phase 1 of the Virgin Money Australia digital bank and BOQ's core infrastructure cloud modernisation, key planks of our digital transformation."

Tredenick was NAB's chief information officer from 2004-2009, and previously was the CEO of corporate superannuation with MLC. She also spent time with Suncorp.

As a director, Tredenick waschair of the IAG & NRMA corporate superannuation plan, on the board of the St James Ethics Centre, and currently sits on the board of Cricket Australia. She became a non-executive director with First Sentier Investors in June of this year.
