BOQ appoints retail banking transformation director

Rod Finch has joined Bank of Queensland as director of transformation for its retail banking operation.

Finch joins BoQ from AMP where he was most recently the managing director of AMP Bank. He took on the role following a restructure that combined the organisation's wealth management and banking businesses into a single entity.

A spokesperson for Bank of Queensland confirmed Finch's appointment. He will report to the organisation's new group executive for retail banking, Martine Jager.

Finch had been with AMP for more than eight years in a variety of customer-focused roles around wealth platforms and marketing. He previously spent several years with Westpac and Lloyds Banking Group in retail strategy roles.
