Blue Sky appoints WAM portfolio manager to board

As it transitions to Wilson Asset Management, Blue Sky Alternative Assets has appointed Wilson Asset Management's lead portfolio manager Adrian Siew to its board.

Siew has more than 22 years of experience in investment markets, specifically in private equity and alternative asset classes. He spent several years with Goldman Sachs' European investment banking advisory team in London before taking on roles in Hong Kong and Singapore. Siew spent 11 years with The Carlyle Group as part of their private equity buy-out investment team.

Blue Sky went into receivership in 2019 and was delisted from the ASX at the end of August.

Wilson Asset Management's founder and CIO Geoff Wilson has also been appointed to the Blue Sky board. Neither he nor Siew are expected to be paid directors' fees initially due to a freeze placed on the organisation.
