Biotech executive joins healthcare VC fund

Kelly Constable has joined OneVentures as venture partner, supporting the venture capital firm's growth in their healthcare sector portfolio.

In addition to her venture partner duties, Constable will sit on the fund's advisory committee and will be a director on the board of Prota Theraputics.

Constable is the co-founder and CEO of AULUS Partners and chief strategy officer for Omico, a company that does oncology clinical trials. She was previously responsible for sales and marketing for therapeutic at Abbott Labs.

"I have great respect for the OneVentures approach to healthcare investing in Australia and the vital role this plays in accelerating life sciences technologies for patients," said Constable. "There is no doubt healthcare investing will be an increasingly important national endeavour for Australia in the post-Covid19 world.

"I look forward to contributing to OneVentures' portfolio architecture and execution and supporting Australia's entrepreneurs."

Dr Paul Kelly, OneVentures' managing partner, welcomed Constable to the organisation.
