Kim Barnes has joined Charter Hall as wholesale investor relations executive.
Barnes left AMP Capital after more than four years, most recently in a similar role. She was also a research consultant relationships manager and spent time in global technical sales. She spent time with J.P. Morgan Chase in Australia, Hong Kong, and Zurich and held roles with HSBC and Merrill Lynch.
In her new role, Barnes will report to Charter Hall's head of capital and product development, Adrian Harrington. "We are delighted Kim has joined Charter Hall in our wholesale investor relations team. Her experience working as the Investor Relations & Communications Manager for AMP's real estate platform and before that as AMP's Research Consultant Relationships Manager across all asset classes brings insights and expertise that will benefit Charter Hall and our clients."
At the end of 2020, Charter Hall was responsible for more than $46.4 billion, $30.1 billion in wholesale funds and partnerships.
