FIRST SENTIER INVESTORS (AUSTRALIA) SERVICES PTY LIMITED
Date: June 2020
Position: Non-Executive Director

First Sentier Investors has appointed experienced banking executive and director Michell Tredenick to their board.

Tredenick is currently a director for the Bank of Queensland and IAG. She was previously the chief information officer at NAB and CEO of MLC's corporate superannuation. "Michelle has extensive experience in businesses operating in a broad range of industries, including banking, insurance, wealth management, education services, health insurance, superannuation and technology," said First Sentier Investors chair Sunao Yokokawa. "She also runs her own corporate advisory business advising boards and CEOs on strategy and technology."

She has some fascinating experience outside of the finance arena as well, serving on the board of the St James Ethics Centre and Cricket Australia.

Tredenick is joined on the board by London-based Richard Wastcoat.

The appointments follow the sale of the business in August 2019 from Commonwealth Bank to Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking and the announcement that the organisation would operate as a standalone investment manager governed by a board of directors.
