Aware Super promotes Wallace to state manager

Aware Super has appointed Gordon Wallace as its new state manager - WA. Wallace was previously advice delivery manager at the fund for four years.

Wallace played an important role in Aware Super's merger with WA Super late last year and will continue to be instrumental in developing Aware Super's advice, education and support functions in WA.

"Gordon has played a leadership role in helping to bring Aware Super and WA Super together, and in his new position will continue to grow and develop our presence in WA," Aware Super executive consultant corporate development, Michael Dundon, said.

"His extensive experience working in the financial services sector in WA means he is well placed to understand the particular issues facing members in the State, and ensure we are able to provide the right education, guidance and advice to help our members to achieve the kind of retirement they deserve."
