Aware boosts ESG credentials

Aware Super has appointed Louise Bradshaw to a role managing ESG matters on its investments team.

It is a similar role to one she held with another industry fund, Australian Catholic Superannuation. She left that role earlier this month. A spokesperson for the fund said they are reviewing their options and looking for a replacement for the role.

A spokesperson for Aware told Industry Moves, "We were delighted to have Louise Bradshaw join us on Monday as Senior Analyst in our Responsible Investment Team.

"Louise's role will be to support our current Responsible Investments Team to continue to deliver our leading responsible ownership approach and comes at a time when we are building out our internal investment capability to support our aim to deliver strong sustainable, long-term returns to our members now and in the future."

Bradshaw previously spent time with Eaton Vance where she was involved in ESG Calvert Research.
