Australian Ethical appoints marketing, experience exec as customer chief
Australian Ethical has appointed finance marketing executive Maria Loyez as its chief customer officer.
Loyez has more than 20 years' experience across finance and neobanks, including a recent stint at Volt Bank where she was the chief customer officer.
Before that, Loyez was the chief marketing officer at SocietyOne and the CMO at OFX. She also spent more than a decade with Optus and Virgin Management, the head office of the Virgin Group.
In 2018, Loyez was named marketing professional of the year by Women in Finance.
"With its recent stellar investment performance, Australian Ethical challenges - and dispels - the myth that ethical investing is just about doing the right thing," said Loyez. "Its history is rooted in a desire to create a better future for everyone and I couldn't be more excited about helping to grow the business and ethical investing.
"I'm especially looking forward to engaging with its customers and not just delivering but exceeding their expectations."
Loyez is joined by Marion Enander who takes up a new role with the organisation, as chief strategy and innovation officer.
The appointments make Australian Ethical one of just 20 ASX 300 companies with full gender equality at the board and c-suite.
